The confrontation between government of Arunachal and its employees under the banner of Confederation of Service Association of Arunachal Pradesh (CoSAAP) over various demands raised by CoSAAP is against the interest of the people of state. The CoSAAP is currently on a two days tool down strike alleging state government of not fulfilling their demands. The state government has warned that strong action will be taken against striking employees. In this battle, it is the ordinary citizens who are going to be the worst sufferers.
Due to this loggerhead, the government files are getting stuck and it is hampering the functioning of government. Right now both the sides seem adamant and are not willing to back down from their respective position. Even though the state government warned of strong action, today CoSAAP went ahead with their strike. Now Chief Minister Pema Khandu has also warned of strong action against the agitating employees. For the interest of the people of Arunachal, this standoff should be brought to an end at the earliest. The CoSAAP and state government should work out a solution before things go out of the control.
