ITANAGAR, Oct 14: Twenty-six departments provided government services to the villagers during the fifth edition of the Sarkar Apke Dwar programme conducted by the Kurung Kumey district administration at Nangram village on Saturday.
Nearby villages of Koloriang town were benefitted from the programme, reports Kurung Kumey DIPRO.
Deputy Commissioner, Santosh Kumar Rai distributed nine gas cylinders along with gas card under PMUY during the programme.
Responding to the grievances of the villagers, such as drinking water and power problems and absence of health and anganwadi workers in the villages, the DC directed the departments concernedto rectify the shortcomings within one week.
The RWD JE informed that the road connection to Nangram will be completed within 2020, the report added.
At Tuting in Upper Siang district, 24 government departments in the district participated in the ‘Sarkar Apke Dwar’ programme and provided services to the people under Tuting sub-division.
Earlier, Health and Family Welfare Minister cum local MLA Alo Libang reiterated the government’s commitment to extend services to the doorstep of the people. He asked the departmental officers to extend all help and cooperation to the people present in the programme.
Recently launched Chief Minister’s Arogya Arunachal Yojana (CMAAY) drew huge number of beneficiaries in the programme. (DIPROs)
