TAWANG, Oct 19: Tawang MLA Tsering Tashi reviewed the preparation for the ensuing Tawang Festival.
The MLA emphasized the need for publicity of the festival for its grand success.
He urged the people of Tawang, the tour operators and hoteliers to show hospitality to the visiting tourists.
Later, Tashi, accompanied by Tawang Deputy Commissioner Sang Phuntso inspected the Mentsem Tse ground (festival ground) and gave necessary instructions for its improvement.
The festival will be held from 26 to 28 October.
The review meeting was attended by the Tawang deputy commissioner, the district tourism officer, festival organizing committee, departmental heads and all other stakeholders. (DIPRO)
