Conduct recruitment exams

Dear Editor,
We express our frustration for delaying the written exam for the posts of EO/EI and LDC. Advertisement for the posts of E0/EI were given on April 6th 2017 and LDC on 4th July 2017 by APPSC.
More than a year has passed since the advertisement but there is no sign of holding its written exams.
Whenever we visit the commission to enquire about these posts , ever one talks only about APPSCCE. But commission should understand that long with APPSCCE, other exams can also be conducted.
With the introduction of so called screen test/recruitment test, completion of recruitment process is further delayed. We are not against these tests, but it should be conducted within 4-5 months of advertisement. The excuse of commission is that screen test is needed for eliminating non-serious candidates. But such candidates are automatically filtered in written exam. Screen fits well for common competitive exams only. Exams for non-gazated posts in three stages incurs financial and is a waste of time for candidates as well as for commission.
All we want to say is that within six months, recruitment should be completed.
Therefore , we appeal commission to conduct written exam of said posts in next month before college/ university exams. Here we would also like to request the APPSC to please skip screen tests this time.
