TAWANG, Dec 19: The Tawang district administration found 10 hotels and restaurants operating without trading licence and penalized them for failing to renew their licences.
The administration conducted surprise checks on 18 and 19 December at all three markets in town to curtail illegal trading and to generate revenue.
The raids, conducted by ASI Genden Chotta and police personnel, were held under the supervision of EAC (GA) Dochora Lama and Town Magistrate Tashi Wangchu Thongdok. (DIPRO)
