ZIRO, Dec 23: As many as 104 job seekers got their names registered during a ‘skill development sensitization-cum-trainee selection programme’ held at Abotani Hall here in Lower Subansiri district on Friday.
During the inaugural function, MLA Tage Taki and ADC Gombu Tsering advised the participants, particularly the youths and school dropouts, to get registered for different trades to become self-employed.
Representatives of vocational training providers such as Naharlagun-based Jarbom Gamlin Institute, Noida-based Smart Brain Ware, and Guwahati-based Pragati Edutech were present on the occasion.
The programme was organized by the district industries centre on behalf of the skill development & entrepreneurship department.
