PASIGHAT, Jan 11: Nyobo-Lamkang, a charitable organization, provided financial assistance of Rs 28,200 to the families affected by the fire accidents that had occurred in Pekung (Mirbuk) and Mangnang villages in Sille-Oyan circle of East Siang district.
The amount was handed over to the affected families on Thursday by East Siang Deputy Commissioner (in-charge) Tatdo Borang.
During his visit to the villages, Borang also gave fire safety tips to the villagers. (DIPRO)
