De-escalate the tension

The tension between India and Pakistan is escalating to a dangerous level. Ever since the suicide bombing at Pulwama in Jammu & Kashmir led to the death of 40 CRPF jawans, tension between the two nations has been rising. Pakistan-based terror outfit, Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), took responsibility for the killing. Since then, the whole of India has been seething in anger. The bombing of the JeM training centre in Balakot, deep inside Pakistan, by the Indian Air Force (IAF) was an apt reply from India. But since then, Pakistan has managed to shoot down an IAF fighter jet, and has captured a pilot during the air skirmishes. The whole country is worried for the safety and security of the Indian pilot.
The government of India should take every possible measure to ensure early release of the captured pilot. Also, further escalation of the tension between the two nuclear-armed neighbours has the potential to wreak havoc across the world. The international communities will have to intervene in order to bring down the tension. They should put pressure on Pakistan to release the captured pilot and stop exporting terrorists to India. Terrorism emanating from Pakistan has caused mayhem all over the world. Even Europe and America have suffered from it. This is the time for the international communities to come together and hold Pakistan accountable for its misdeeds. They have to play an important role to de-escalate the tension between the two nations.
