MODEL VILLAGE, Mar 23: In the first semifinal match of the Model Super League (MSL), Khampu FC demolished Black Warriors FC by 7-0 goals to make it to the final of this year’s MSL.
In a one-sided match, Khampu FC took the lead early on with a goal by Taba Tedir in the 5th minute, while Nabam Rodo scored two more goals, and the nail in the coffin came in the form of four goals scored by prolific striker Taba Sel.
Taba Sel now leads the goal-scoring chart with 12 goals.
Khampu FC will face the winner of the second semifinal match between defending champions Petwa United FC and two-time winner Commando FC in the most highly anticipated match, dubbed the ‘Model Derby,’ scheduled for 3 pm on Sunday.
