DOIMUKH, Mar 29: As part of the capital complex administration’s effort to generate awareness about free and fair elections, the literary cell of the government college here in Papum Pare district on Friday organised a debate competition on the topic, ‘Has Arunachal truly evolved as a democracy since 32 years?’
Tai Otu (BA 2nd semester) and Bharat Mili (4th semester) were adjudged the winner and the runner-up, respectively, of the competition. They will now represent the college in the inter-college debate competition to be held at Dera Natung Government College (DNGC) on 3 April.
Among others, Capital Complex DIPRO Keter Bagra and DNGC Principal Dr MQ Khan witnessed the debate.
A debate competition on the same topic was also conducted at Hills College of Teacher Education in Lekhi.
Nyabi Ori and Sange Chotup Bapu, both of whom are 4th semester students of the college, were adjudged the winner and the runner-up, respectively.
