PALIN, Jul 8: The girls’ hostel of the government higher secondary school (GHSS) here in Kra Daadi district is facing threat from a landslide triggered by heavy rainfall.
The hostel was constructed under the Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan. According to a report, a portion of the school’s land collapsed on Sunday night.
The members of the school management committee visited the GHSS on Monday to take stock of the damages. They have appealed to the authorities concerned to take urgent steps to save the hostel from further damage.
