ITANAGAR, Jul 10: The Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women (APSCW) has appreciated Capital Superintendent of Police Tumme Amo and his team of officers and officials from the Nirjuli police station for cracking the rape and murder that occurred near the Dikrong Bridge.
The commission also requested the police for a charge sheet as per relevant section of IPC and requested the state government to provide compensation to the victim’s family as per the Arunachal Pradesh Victim Compensation Scheme.
Director General of Police (DGP) SBK Singh also lauded the capital police team, led by SP Amo for carrying out its work with dedication and sincerity.
While he appreciated the entire Capital Complex team for cracking several important cases, the DGP appealed to the police force to “work hard and earn their reputation in the eye of the general public.”
He also appealed to the public to abide by the rules and guidelines of the law to make the Capital Complex a better place to live in.
