ITANAGAR, Jul 12: A section of people from Nari-Koyu in Lower Siang district in a representation to the chief secretary on Thursday sought cancellation of alleged “politically motivated mass transfer and posting of government employees” of the Nari-Koyu assembly constituency.
Terming the Order Nos lSD/EDN/MODELSCH 2019-20, dated 21 June, 2019, and LSD/EDN/TP/2019-20, dated 28 June, 2019, issued by the East Siang and the Lower Siang deputy directors of school education “illegal and arbitrary,” the group requested the chief secretary to issue directions to the competent authorities of East Siang and Lower Siang to not issue transfer and posting orders to the government employees of Nari-Koyu.
