With the declaration of the interview results for recruitment to the posts of postgraduate teachers (PGT) without making any delay, I would like to request the education minister and the secondary education director to post sufficient PGTs at the government higher secondary school (GHSS) in Maro in Upper Subansiri district.
The school is a GHSS only in name and record, with only a few teachers running it. The shortage of PGTs has paralyzed the teaching-learning process in the school. The few teachers are toiling hard, managing all the classes in the absence of sufficient subject teachers, letting the students feel the presence of all the subject teachers.
I sincerely request the higher authorities to provide sufficient TGTs or PGTs to make it a school worth studying in.
