ITANAGAR, Sep 4: The capital police have arrested one drug trafficker, identified as Moon Das in relation to a case under the Banderdewa police station.
SP Capital Tumme Amo informed that during interrogation of the arrested accused, he disclosed that one Boiler, later identified as supplier Khargeswar Boro, used to pay him five percent commission for selling drugs.
Based on the information collected from Das, a police team led by the OC of Banderdewa PS trapped him near the PTC gate no. 2 on Tuesday evening and apprehended him.
“Khargeswar Boro admitted that he used to give drugs to Moon Das for selling and that he purchased drugs from one Rajiv Doley, who was already arrested by us on 28 August,” the SP added.
