Declare test results

Dear Editor,
I would like to draw the attention of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) to the inordinate delay in declaring the results of the written exam for the posts of district library & information officer (DLIO) under the libraries department.
The APPSC had floated the advertisement (vide No PSC-R (A)/041, 2018) on 10 May, 2018, for three vacant posts of DLIO, and the written examination for the same was held in December 2018. It has been nine months since we gave our written exam.
There were only 218 candidates who were eligible to sit for the examination, and out of them many did not participate. Now the question is, for less than 200 candidates, why is the commission taking a year’s time to evaluate the answer sheets?
Therefore, through your esteemed daily, I, on behalf of my fellow aspirants, would like to appeal to the APPSC to expedite the recruitment process and declare the written test result as soon as possible.
Your kindness and generosity would always be acknowledged.
An aspirant,
Itanagar
