ITANAGAR, Feb 17: The Arunachal Generation Forum has in a representation to the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) chairman requested him to ensure that there is transparency in declaring “the results of the LDC-cum-computer operation,” the exam for which was held on 2 February.
The forum said the results should be declared “as per the SSC norms and the APSSC norms for the filtration of deserving candidate,” adding that the results “must be transparent and free from political influence.”
It also suggested that the names of the candidates – along with their roll numbers – who have secured 70 percent or more marks in the written test and those who have passed the computer application and typing test should be published in the local newspapers.
Meanwhile, the All Arunachal Tourism Student’s Union in a representation to the chief secretary on Monday strongly condemned the recent exam conducted by the APSSB and sought “immediate action against the concerned authority for speedy justice.”
The union also demanded implementing the provision of rechecking in the APSSB, “and display of marks like the SSC examination for transparency.”
