ITANAGAR, Mar 13: Sixty-seven units of blood were donated to RK Mission Hospital here on Friday by students and staffers of Rajiv Gandhi Government Polytechnic (RGGP) who participated in a voluntary blood donation camp held at the institute on Friday.
The camp was organized by the NSS unit of RGGP, in collaboration with NGO I Love Arunachal and the state blood cell.
Arunachal Voluntary Blood Donors Organization chairman Ramesh Jeke, who also attended it, encouraged the students to take part in voluntary blood donation camps, and highlighted “the role of the NSS in creating a better society through selfless work for the people in need.”
RGGP Principal Dr AK Tripathy, NSS Programme Officer Rinchin Tashi Tsumkhapa, Assistant Programme Officer Kamlit Mongchan, and I Love Arunachal chairman Regon Naji also attended the camp.
