ZIRO, 15 Jul: The Lower Subansiri district administration has notified Hong village as a containment zone in the wake of an upsurge of Covid-19 cases in the village.
Hanoko, Kyle Byah and Dilopalyang have been declared as a buffer zone.
In the containment order, DC Somcha Lowang directed the residents of the notified areas/villages not to move out of their houses till contact-tracing is conducted and unless permitted by the medical team.
The DMO/DSO will carry out rapid antigen tests, based on the contact-tracing. No public gathering or meeting will be permitted in the containment zone, the order stated.
The incident commanders of the notified areas have been directed to strictly monitor the implementation of the containment order. (DIPRO)
