ABK takes out candlelight march demanding arrest of T&E inspector’s murderer(s)

ITANAGAR, 19 May: Members of the Papum Pare district unit of the Adi Bane Kebang (ABK) took out a candlelight march from Akashdeep to the Mopin-Solung ground on Wednesday, demanding that the home department immediately arrest the murderer(s) of late tax & excise (T&E) inspector Tamik Taki.

Terming the killing of Taki cold-blooded and pre-planned, the ABK unit said that “such kind of cold-blooded murderer(s) should be given exemplary punishment as per the law, so that no one can repeat the same crime.”

“It is crystal clear from the spot and scene of crime, there must be involvement of few groups who intentionally murdered late Taki,” it added.

The case has been registered at the Tuting police station in Upper Siang district, the ABK unit said, adding that it would not stay silent till justice is delivered.

Late Taki’s dead body was recovered from the Siang river, near Jido village in Upper Siang district, on 5 May.
