KANUBARI, 17 Nov: Members of the Longding KVK, led by KVK Head (i/c) A Kirankumar Singh, organised a training programme on ‘Nutritional kitchen gardening under NARI’ at the girls’ hostel of the government higher secondary school here on Thursday.
During the programme, which was organised under the Nutri-sensitive Agriculture Research Innovation (NARI) scheme, Singh highlighted “the importance of different vegetable crops for making a balanced diet in our daily life.”
The girls were given hands-on training in transplantation of vegetable crops like cabbage, cauliflower and broccoli, apart from other vegetable crops like mustard, spinach, radish, carrot, etc, at the KVK field.
