YINGKIONG, 11 Feb: Upper Siang DC Hage Lailang on Friday inspected the ‘block points’ between Bomdo and Janbo villages to take stock of the situation.
During his interaction with officials of construction agency KRC Infra Projects Pvt Ltd and the BRO, the DC enquired about the status of the road construction work. He directed the construction agencies to “open the road for traffic movement from 14 February.”
Earlier, the DC issued a traffic advisory for closure of the road from Bomdo to Janbo for 10 days from 5 February onwards, at the request of the BRO and KRC Infra Projects Pvt Ltd.
The road serves as a lifeline for the residents of Janbo village, Tuting subdivision, and the armed forces. [DIPRO]
