ITANAGAR, 11 Feb: NHPC Executive Director Uday Shankar Shahi has taken charge as the head of the 2,880 mw Dibang Multipurpose Project (DMP), replacing Janesh Sahni, on Saturday.
A graduate in civil engineering, Shahi worked for about 34 years in various offices of the NHPC in Sikkim, Assam, Bhutan, Patna, Andaman & Nicobar, Manipur, Myanmar, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Delhi.
