TAWANG, 20 Apr: More than 100 villagers from Gyangkhar, Dharmkang, Yuibu, Khartoot and nearby villages in Kyidphel circle of Tawang district benefitted from a free medical camp organised by the Indian Army’s Tawang brigade at Gyangkhar village on Thursday, under the Army’s Operation Samaritan.
A team of specialists from the Indian Army, along with the district hospital MO (Sowa Rigpa) conducted the camp, which was inaugurated by Tawang Brigade Commander, Brig NM Bendigeri.
Local MLA Tsering Tashi bore the cost of Sowa Rigpa medicines (under AYUSH) for all the patients. (DIPRO)
