ITANAGAR, 2 Aug: As many as 752 guest faculties have been approved under Mukhya Mantri Shiksha Kosh Scheme till date to fill up the vacant posts of subject teachers in various government higher secondary and government secondary schools of the state.
Highest 70 guest faculties have been approved for Changlang district, followed by West Kameng (53), West Siang (52), East Kameng (42), Longding (39), Papum Pare (38), Tirap (38), Kamle (35), Upper Subansiri (34), Tawang (33), Namsai (30), Kra Daadi (30), Kurung Kumey (29), Lower Siang (29), Siang (27), Upper Siang (26), Lower Dibang Valley (22), Leparada (22), Lower Subansiri (21), Anjaw (19), Lohit (18), Pakke Kessang (16), Shi Yomi (9), Capital Complex (8), East Siang (7) and
Dibang Valley (5), director of school education Marken Kadu informed in a release.
“With this, the requirement of subject teachers has been almost fulfilled in all the GHSSs and GSSs,” the DSE said.
The guest faculties were directed to join their respective posting places on 1 July, 2023.
On Wednesday, minister for education Taba Tedir conducted a review meeting with the education commissioner, the education secretary, and the director of secondary education regarding the filling up of the vacant subject teachers’ posts.
