BASAR, 31 Aug: Eight persons were selected for a ‘Saathi Haath Badhana’ internship programme of the Leparada district administration launched here on Thursday in the presence of DC Mamata Riba, Basar-based ICAR Regional Station Head Dr L Wangchu, EAC Khoda Bath, nodal officer of the internship programme Dr Ting Paron, and others.
The internship programme is meant for interested youths between the ages of 18 and 35 years (Class 12 passed) or continuing their studies or school and college dropouts and students in colleges and universities willing for internship in a department of their choice for a period of one month or more, as decided by the respective department.
The district administration, in collaboration with the participating departments, will award an internship certificate for the same along with grading. (DIPRO)
