ITANAGAR, 24 Oct: Members of the Arunachal Christian Forum (ACF) in a press conference at the press club here on Tuesday announced that Arunachal Prayer Festival-2023 will be held at IG Park here from 27 to 29 October.
Addressing media persons, ACF president Tarh Miri said that the festival would be “focused on praying for peace and prosperity of Arunachal Pradesh, and for the blessing of the state, including people.”
The celebration committee’s chairman, Norbu Sonam, said that “the preparations for the prayer festival have been underway for half-a-month now.”
“We have been praying for good governance; an end to the drug menace and alcoholism; and the welfare of the youths of the state. We are organising the prayer festival also for those Christians who have been backslided,” he said.
This will be the second time that the prayer festival will be celebrated. Earlier, it had been organised from 13-15 April, 2007.
