ITANAGAR, 28 Jul: Nineteen persons met with an accident in Yangte circle of Kra Daadi district on Saturday evening when the vehicle they were travelling in was hit by brake failure.
All 19 of them were returning from their agriculture field in a Bolero pickup truck when its brake failed, the vehicle skidded off the road, and fell into a deep gorge.
It is learnt that seven of the injured persons, including the driver, are admitted in
TRIHMS, Naharlagun, in serious condition, and that seven others did not sustain serious injuries and are receiving regular treatment in various hospitals in the ICR. Two of the injured are men.
Five of them are reported to have sustained minor injuries.
