ITANAGAR, 29 Jul: The three-day 8th general conference of Indigenous Faith and Cultural Society of Arunachal Pradesh (IFCSAP) concluded at Chimpu near here on Sunday.
A new executive committee of the IFCSAP, headed by Dr. Emi Rumi was also constituted for three years.
Speaking on the occasion, the IFCSAP’s outgoing president Katung Wahge highlighted various issues confronting the indigenous faith groups and challenges.
The new IFCSAP president assured that his team will leave no stone unturned to carry forward the legacies left behind by his predecessors.
International Centre for Cultural Studies, Delhi organising secretary Sandeep Kavishwar, Arunachal Indigenous Tribe Forum president Dr. Bengia Tolum, community based indigenous faith organisations, district unit of the IFCSAP, representatives from cultural preservation and prayer centres and senior citizens from different tribes, sub-tribes of the state attended the conference.
