I am writing on behalf of the 39 candidates who have been anxiously awaiting the final stage of the Sub-Inspector (SI) Telecom recruitment process, conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), for nearly two years. We embarked on this journey with high hopes, beginning with the advertisement on 8th February 2022. After successfully completing the physical efficiency test on 25th and 26th May 2022, and the mains written exam on 17th and 18th August 2022, we were elated when the results were declared on 31st August 2022, confirming our eligibility for the medical test and viva voce.
The medical tests were conducted on 22nd September 2022 at TRIHMS hospital, and the viva voce was scheduled for 27th September 2022. However, due to the unfortunate paper leakage incident, the entire process was abruptly halted. Since then, nearly two years have passed, leaving us in a state of limbo, with our professional lives and aspirations hanging in the balance.
Recently, APPSC released its examination calendar, which we eagerly hoped would include an update on the SI Telecom viva voce. Unfortunately, there was no mention of it, further deepening our concern and disappointment.
We earnestly appeal to the relevant authorities to expedite the process and conduct the viva voce at the earliest. We have shown tremendous patience and resilience throughout this lengthy process, and all we seek is the opportunity to complete what we started.
We hope that by bringing this matter to light, the commission will take prompt action to conclude this long-delayed process and bring relief to the 39 candidates who have been waiting far too long for a resolution.
