BASAR, 27 Aug: MLA Nyabi Jini Dirchi advocated “complete execution of projects in a timely manner,without giving any scope for complaints in Leparada district.”
Addressing a meeting of the District Level Monitoring Committee at the DC’s conference hall here on Tuesday, she also advocated proper use of available information technology tools in execution of works, “so that accuracy, transparency, efficiency and work quality are maintained.”
Lauding the overall performance of all the departments, she urged the officers of the departments to practically adopt the bottom-to-top approach, as envisaged by the government, “so that fruits of development are percolated to the grassroots level in the true sense.”
The MLA also commended the achievements of the PHE&WS department’s Basar division.
While taking stock of the education scenario, she directed the DDSE to prepare
a comprehensive roadmap for reforming the education sector in the district, in line with the modalities adopted during the recently concluded state-level ‘chintan shivir-cum-education conclave’.
The MLA assured that she would provide full support and cooperation to the education sector.
Deputy Commissioner Atul Tayeng directed the departments to “ensure progress of the schemes and projects as per standing guidelines and timeframe.”He asked the departments to quickly resolve the local and petty issues “that are hindering the progress of implementation of schemes and projects in the district.”
Tayeng urged the departmental officers to approach the district administration “whenever need arises for intervention and necessary action.”
Earlier, the latest status of all the central and state flagship projects and schemes being implemented in the district were presented by the implementing departments.
The PHE&WS executive engineer informed that, besides securing sixth position all over the country, Leparada has been ranked as the top district in Arunachal in the implementation of the JJM.
The latest status of projects under the power grid and the Airtel network service provider in the district were also reviewed during the meeting. (DIPRO)
