Set questions according to prescribed syllabus

Editor,
Through the columns of your esteemed daily, I want to express my concern regarding the PGT and TGT general knowledge (objective) syllabus.
The APPSC has given the syllabus for general knowledge for PGT and TGT, in which it has not mentioned any topic related to maths and reasoning, but if we revisit the general knowledge question paper of PGT and TGT 2019 exam, the APPSC had set seven-eight questions based on maths and reasoning, which is a mockery of the serious aspirants who are preparing for the exam according to the prescribed syllabus.
In addition, I urge the APPSC to stick to the prescribed syllabus and set the general knowledge questions in standard way. Since general knowledge is a vast syllabus, the APPSC should not add confusion, mental pressure and anxiety on the aspirants by setting questions (ie, maths and reasoning) which have not been prescribed in the syllabus.
Therefore, I pray to the APPSC to go through the syllabus properly before setting question paper. We, the serious PGT/ TGT aspirants, are going with the prescribed syllabus. Don’t betray us by setting questions out of the syllabus.
Miss K
