PASIGHAT, 23 Sep: The Rashtriya Raksha University’s (RRU) campus here in East Siang district hosted a special lecture titled ‘Combating drug trafficking: Law enforcement’s approach’,presented by Naharlagun SP Mihin Gambo, on Monday.
The lecture focused on effective strategies, and challenges faced in countering drug trafficking, with special emphasis on the northeastern region.
Gambo shared insights into the importance of inter-agency cooperation, community involvement, and use of advanced technology in combating drug networks.
He highlighted the critical role of law enforcement in tackling the growing menace of drug trafficking, and offered practical approaches for improving operational efficiency.
The session concluded with an interaction between the SP and the participants, the RRU informed in a release.
