Placing grievances before the APPSC

Editor,
Through the columns of your esteemed daily, I would like to highlight the following pertinent points regarding the advertisement for recruitment of lecturer (DIET).
As per the cancellation notification [PSC-R (B)/14/2018/07, dated Itanagar, the 6th August, 2024], the commission stated that in the larger interest of the public, the earlier advertisement stood cancelled on the ground of “providing equal opportunity to all the eligible and qualified candidates, so that suitable candidates are selected.”
Now the commission must answer: 1. Who are those suitable candidates? 2. Was the 2022 aspirant batch not suitable or inefficient for lecturers’ job? 3. Are you going to cancel all the exams which were scheduled during the APSCE fiasco? If you cancelled only the lecturer DIET, that means it will be an injustice to the 2022 batch. We expect that the commission will apply the same scale to all the upcoming examinations.
As per Notification No PSC-R (B)/14/2018/07, dated Itanagar, the 16th August, 2024, we were expecting to see the number of posts getting increased. However, to our utter dismaym the number of posts remained unchanged as 25 (twenty -five), whereas in the SCERT/DIET, there is a shortage of lecturers. Some DIETs are managed by one or two faculty members.
As per the commission Notification Clause (3) recruitment test, if conducted may be objective/subjective examination in concerned subject. Whereas in your prescribed it mentioned one compulsory paper of foundation course and English having 100 marks, whereas in your latest notification, it clearly stated that “the recruitment test will be multiple-choice question (MCQ) of 100 marks,” Now we are in dilemma which one we should prepare for this recruitment test: Concerned subject or compulsory paper?
While filling the form for the post of lecturer (DIET), we were asked to choose the concerned subject. Whereas in your notification dated 22nd September, 2024, the form for choice of the subject shall be notified. Do we have to choose the subject again?
As per your tentative calendar event and advertisement notification, the date of exam was fixed on 29.09.2024. And during your press briefing dated 18th September, 2024, the secretary APPSC clearly stated that the date of recruitment will not deviate from notified date. Accordingly, we were getting ready physically and mentally for the test. But to our astonishment, as per your notification dated 22nd September, 2024, you have again deviated from your order and word and postponed on 25.10.2024.
Now, under above facts and circumstances, we would like to appeal to the commission to issue clarification regarding the subject for the recruitment test as earliest. And notify the selected/rejected list of candidates at the earliest.
