Editor,
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, we would like to appeal to the chairman and the members of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) to kindly change the date of the prelims (15 December, 2024) as it clashes with the university examinations all across Arunachal Pradesh.
As we all know, November-December is the period of various semester examinations of the universities. It is also known from the notification that the preliminary exam will be conducted at various district headquarters; it will be very difficult for us to move back and forth for both the exams.
So the aspirants who have been preparing for the APPSCCE for many years while pursuing various postgraduate degrees simultaneously will be deprived of the opportunity of taking the APPSCCE prelims. Our wishes and hopes should also be part of the steel frame of our state.
We the aspirants as well the students of various universities of the state humbly and with folded hands request the chairman and the members of the APPSC to look into issue. We believe that the commission is inclusive and will reconsider the preliminary examination date in order to give us equal opportunity to appear for the aforementioned exam.
We are hopeful that our plea will not fall on deaf ears and an amicable solution will be communicated soon.
