ITANAGAR, 25 Nov: Upper Subansiri deputy commissioner Tasso Gambo has urged the health department in the district to make an all-out effort to maintain zero malaria cases. He was addressing the heads of offices, PRI leaders, and Vector Borne Diseases Control (VBDC) staff during a District Malaria Elimination Task Force (DMETF) meeting at the Panchayat conference hall here on Monday.
The DC also urged officials from other departments and PRI leaders to extend their support to the health department in eliminating malaria from the district and in the prevention and control of other vector-borne diseases.
