NAHARLAGUN, 5 Dec: A workshop on the state project monitoring group (PMG) portal was held at the banquet hall here on Wednesday.
It was organised by the planning & investment (monitoring and evaluation) department, in collaboration with the promotion of industry and internal trade department under the union commerce & industry ministry.
The state planning & investment secretary’s OSD Yaswant Meena in his keynote address highlighted the importance of the workshop, and urged the participants to avail the benefits of the programme.
“The PMG Invest India is an institutional mechanism for milestone-based monitoring of projects and for expediting resolution of issues and regulatory bottlenecks in projects with investments upwards of Rs 500 crores in India,” Meena said.
Earlier, Planning (Monitoring & Evaluation) Director Mokir Eshi Ori expressed hope that the participants would be immensely benefitted by the workshop.
PMG (DIIPT) Senior Manager Rohit Dua and PMG Assistant Manager Aditi Singhal enlightened the participants about various aspects of the PMG,including its working system, workflow, portfolio size, achievements, types of issues, etc.
Joint Director (Monitoring) Sangha Babung also spoke.
Planning (Project Coordinator) Director Okep Tayengand Deputy Director (Monitoring) Mingam Riba, among others, were present at the workshop. (DIPR)
