Editor,
The Nyishi Elite Society’s (NES) recent event on wildlife protection and preservation in Keyi Panyor district was a resounding success, for which I’d like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to this remarkable wildlife awareness programme.
Special thanks to the gaon burahs of four circles, the district administration, officers/officials, panchayat leaders, the forest department, and the enthusiastic youths who participated in the programme.
I must extend my heartiest thanks to organising secretary Likha Obi and organising chairman Likha Chada, besides to NES central executive member Tabia Chobin, who is also in-charge of Keyi Panyor and had been accompanying us since day one of the awareness programme. Their collective efforts helped foster awareness about the importance of protecting wildlife and preserving our ecosystem.
The surrender of airguns by the youths of Keyi Panyor district is a significant milestone.
