LIKABALI, 18 Feb: The 3rd edition of the Inter-Departmental Sports Meet concluded here in Lower Siang district on Tuesday with a football match between the Health Department and the General Administration (GA) Department. The grand finale saw an intense battle on the field, culminating in a dramatic penalty shootout.
The Health Department took an early lead with a well-crafted goal, but the GA Department responded with determination, levelling the score 1-1 by the end of regulation time. The match proceeded to a nerve-wracking penalty shootout, where the GA Department emerged victorious with a 5-4 scoreline, demonstrating remarkable composure and teamwork.
