Through your esteemed newspaper, I would like to draw the attention of the State Blood Transfusion Service under the health services directorate, Naharlagun, to the fact that the contractual employees of blood transfusion services in the state have not received our salaries since December 2024.
Despite the low salary and being over worked, serving at different blood centres of the districts, whenever we approach the department to enquire about our salary, their answer is always the same: ‘Fund nahi hai. Fund nahi hai.’ This is really terrible.
I request the authority concerned to take necessary action for the welfare of the blood centres’ contractual employees.
