NAHARLAGUN, 29 Jan: An awareness programme on ‘Information security and emerging technologies’for senior government officials was organised by the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), Itanagar, in collaboration with the Administrative Training Institute (ATI), at the ATI here on Wednesday.
PWC Indian senior associate Tuhin Chakraborty and NIELIT assistant faculty member Moni Kumari were the resource persons of the programme, who dwelt on topics such as information security, cyber security, AI, and its applications.
The main purpose of the programme was to make government officials aware of information security and emerging technologies that are relevant at present. Around 50 officials from the ATI and state government officials attended the programme.
Among others, ATI Director Pate Marik, Deputy Director Dr Mizum Nyodu, and NIELIT Academic Head Shammi Sharma were present at the programme.
