ITANAGAR, 29 Jan: A kayaking and rafting expedition of the Arunachal Kayak, Canoe and Rafting Association was flagged off here on Thursday by Sports Authority of Arunachal (SAA) Director Guymna Karbar, in the presence of SAA Vice Chairperson Bengia Yaying Tadar.
The expedition is being conducted by the Eko Dumbing Adventure and supported by the SAA. It will conclude on 5 March.
As part of the expedition, the team will conduct survey and exploration in three major rivers of the state: Siyom (Yomgo), Lohit and Kameng.
Director Karbak extended his best wishes to the team for the expedition.
