PASIGHAT, 31 Mar: Pasighat West MLA Ninong Ering-sponsored ‘Mission APSSB 2026’ to boost career prospects of local youths was launched here in East Siang district on Tuesday.
In total, 140 APSSB (Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board) aspirants from his constituency have been selected for an intensive preparation programme. The programme includes a 45-day crash course, along with a month’s physical training, designed to equip candidates for upcoming examinations to be conducted by the APSSB.
Out of the selected candidates, 100 aspirants have begun attending classes at an institute in Pasighat, while the remaining students have enrolled at an institute in Itanagar to pursue their coaching.
Ering has consistently supported such educational initiatives, sponsoring coaching and scholarship programmes for competitive examinations like the UPSC, the APCS, and the APSSB, since 2019.
Over the years, these efforts have benefited a large number of aspiring candidates, contributing to increased induction of local youths in government services.
