DAPORIJO, 1 Apr: Upper Subansiri District Election Officer (DEO) Tasso Gambo appealed to the political parties in the district to extend cooperation to the officials concerned for smooth conduct of the special intensive revision (SIR) exercise.
Addressing a meeting with representatives of political parties of the district at his office here on Wednesday, the DC urged them to create awareness among the citizens about the SIR exercise.
Emphasising the inclusion of “pure and genuine electors,” the DC directed the election registration officers to carry out the SIR exercise “with sincerity and outmost care.” (DIPRO)
