ITANAGAR, 2 Apr: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of the state government has arrested another alleged accused in connection with the Lada-Sarli Frontier Highway (Packages IV to V) compensation scam.
The accused, Karbia Rebe (39), a resident of Rebe village in East Kameng district, was apprehended for his role in “fraudulent activities aimed at wrongful gain, following the money trail,” the ACB said in a statement on Thursday.
It urged citizens who witness corruption or face bribe demands to report it or visit the ACB police station, or call 9436040055 or 0360-22 12600 to lodge complaints or share any information regarding the demand for bribe/illegal gratification.
