JOLLANG, 2 May: A ‘Mega Northeast education fair’ was held at Don Bosco College (DBC) here on Saturday.
The event was organised by the career guidance and placement cell under the coordination of Dr Tenzing N Drangtzidar, Dr Raju Goyary, and Lyngdoh Pascal of Global Study Pro, Bengaluru.
A total of 11 universities and colleges from India and abroad participated, showcasing a wide range of academic programmes and career pathways. The expo witnessed enthusiastic participation of a large number of +2 and final-year students, who interacted directly with institutional representatives to understand admission procedures, eligibility criteria, scholarships, and future career prospects.
The event served as an effective platform for students to explore higher education opportunities, and was successful in guiding them towards making informed academic and career decisions, the college informed in a release.
