The ongoing state conclave on shaping the development discourse of Arunachal Pradesh has brought the policy makers, bureaucrats, academicians, researchers nearer for re-examining existing development agenda of the state. Governor Brig.(Retd) Dr B.D Mishra rightly said the initiative will be a trailblazer which will immensely benefit the State and its people. Governor also gave a clarion call to give priority on road, electricity, water supply, education, security, healthcare, and employment.
Highlighting the development initiatives of the state Govt, Chief Minister Pema Khandu also hoped that the conclave would give a right direction for the future development of the state. He said “We have all resources at our disposal. With the coming up of road, rail, air and digital connectivity the road ahead is open and inviting for us. We just need a comprehensive and time-bound roadmap to guide us and the determination to achieve it.”
Meanwhile, Executive Director (ED) of Reserve Bank of India, Surekha Marandi informed the Chief Minister that RBI will open an office in Arunachal, preferably in the state capital within three to six months.
We only hope that the state Govt would not wait for natural development process of the state after the conclave and major outcome of the conclave would give a new direction to make Arunachal a frontrunner state.
