Editor,
In the new budget 2021-22, it was seen that Rs 32 crores has been given for CMSSY schemes and Rs 4 crores for hiring new teachers. But I would like to draw the attention of the authorities concerned regarding the pending salaries of 2019-2020 hired teachers in the capital complex under the CMSSY.
It’s about one year since we were discontinued from our jobs (March, 2020). Funds for the new session are discussed but salaries of 2019-2020 are still pending. This scheme has disregarded the highly motivated teachers who joined as TGTs and worked very sincerely without getting any salary for more than one year. Will the government pay the salaries with the interest amount for that time period? If they cannot pay the salaries of the teachers, it’s better not to hire any new CMSSY teacher. It’s next to impossible to survive in the capital complex without salaries for one year if they have no one to feed them. When asked about the salaries, the DDSEs say that they have no idea. Should we just forget about our salaries or should we seek justice from the law? We request the authorities to release our salaries at the earliest and compensate the time with the interest amount along with.
