NIRJULI, 2 Jun: Water supply to Lekhi and Nirjuli towns will be affected due to the shifting of the pipeline of the DI and the GI mains to pave way for the construction of Package B of the four-lane highway.
In a press release, the PHED informed that the water supply will be affected and restoration work will take some days.
Appealing to the residents to bear with the inconvenience, the department informed that water tankers will be engaged to meet the needs of the people.
“The citizens may contact JE Nangram Tamang at the following contact numbers: +919862969947 and +918413931446 for water tankers,” the release stated.
