Much awaited post of JE (civil) is out, thanks to the CM. The news may come as a ray of hope to thousands of unemployed engineering graduates but to students of Agricultural engineering, it has come as a shock as the syllabus is drawn from Civil engineering.
As we are expert in Irrigation and drainage, building materials, rural electrification, farm machineries, farm tractors, we had anticipated from APPSC that they would set separate question paper according to our field of knowledge as is the case in most Indian states like Sikkim, Punjab and Bihar.
We have meagre chances of getting selected as we are made eligible only under RWD.
If the govt is offering such courses in many prestigious colleges it’s their responsibility to get us recruited as well.
It is requested that separate question paper is set for us.
